Mabel Charron

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Child & Adolescent Clinical Nurse Specialist

My name is Mabel Charron, PMHNP, BC and I hold dual certification from the ANCC as both a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as well as a Child & Adolescent Clinical

Nurse Specialist.  I have an all telehealth, private practice for behavioral health.  I provide medication treatment for most common disorders.  My approach is to prioritize mental health, arguably the most crucial aspect of a person's well-being.  I provide medication management for most mental health conditions for ages 6 and up.

I provide psychiatric consultations and follow up with each patient.  All appointments are currently via telehealth.  We use Doxy.me as a platform to connect with you on either your laptop, desktop or cell phone.  I require a secure connection and a private location for

me to give you the best treatment possible.  All visits must occur in the state of Massachusetts as the current law requires both myself and the patient to be located in the state I am licensed in.  Other states are pending at this time.

About

Our office uses Therapy Notes Patient Portal for all communications with our patients.

Once you have called us and we have established you as a new patient in our system, you will then receive an email to create your patient portal login.

You will be able to message us regarding refills or fill out and submit documents through the portal instead of calling the office.

Below is button that will connect you with Patient Portal which will allow you to log into your patient portal account.

What to expect at your first appointment:  Our first appointment is typically one hour.  During that time, I will obtain information on your current concerns and historical information that may be impacting you today.  If you are currently on medication, please have that information

available as I will verify it with you.  After the first appointment, we will discuss a treatment plan and see if you feel that will work for you.  In some instances, we may need a second appointment if we do not finish in the one hour time allotted.  Follow up appointments are scheduled at each appointment and are typically shorter.

Good Faith Estimate: We are required to inform you that if you are uninsured or if you are not seeking to use your insurance for the service you are receiving, you have certain rights under the federal No Surprises Act. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one week before your medical service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059
